Get Involved with The Ohio Light Opera
The Ohio Light Opera is a summer in residence company in Wooster, Ohio, located in north central Ohio. Cast opportunities include both a young artist program as well as Resident Professional artist employment opportunities for a total of a 36 person cast. Vocal auditions are held annually in a number of cities across the nation, usually in November and December. Orchestra auditions are held in March each year to fill the 30 positions in the pit orchestra of the Company. There are a number of technical positions, both as internships and via employment.
There are a number of volunteer opportunities, including ushering, unpaid internships and other worthwhile educational opportunities that reflect the core mission of the College of Wooster which is where the company is in residence each summer.
