Vocal Auditions
The 2010 Vocal Auditions have been completed.
Audition Process/Procedures: Only complete (headshot, resume, application form, CD, non-refundable application fee) and legible applications will be processed. There will be a screening process of audition materials before an audition time will be offered. Those chosen for an audition will be selected based on their experience and potential value to the season's repertoire. A sound recording (1 CD with two contrasting selections only) is required to aid in this screening process. Please do not send any videos, DVDs or cassette recordings. After review of all submitted applications, those selected for an audition will be notified (by e-mail or phone) of their assigned audition time. Those auditioning are asked to prepare two selections of contrasting styles. These selections should target the applicant's optimum vocal facility, range and character development. At least one selection must be in English. Musical theatre selections are acceptable. The singer must also prepare a one minute memorized monologue or series of connected lines.
